How to Protect Your Vehicle from Rust
"...this stuff ACTUALLY works."
This is what I hear from most of my customers. Why are they so impressed?
Why You Need It
Unfortunately, there are so many products that claim to prevent, fight, stop, destroy, (or whatever verb you can think of) RUST. Rust and oxidation is what destroys and will destroy almost every vehicle on the road. The main catalyst for the rusting process is water. Steel components might appear to be solid, but water molecules can penetrate the microscopic holes and cracks in any exposed metal. Choosing to protect your vehicle with Fluid Film undercoating in Pennsylvania, will drastically increase the lifespan of your vehicle's metal components and body panels, helping to preserve your assets.
"Where most products contain between seventy and ninety percent solvent, FLUID FILM contains none except for its propellant, meaning long lasting lubrication and protection. With no solvent, FLUID FILM won’t evaporate or become sticky or gummy, allowing it to migrate to other areas for lubrication or protection. With its unique lanolin base, FLUID FILM will actually imbed itself in the pores of metal, resisting wash off and keeping moisture and oxygen from getting to the base metal. Containing no solvent content, FLUID FILM lends itself to numerous applications where the comparative solvent-based products would not even be considered."
How We Install Fluid Film.
We install Fluid Film using professional undercoating application guns and wands. We utilize these flexible wands to access inner rocker panels, frame-rails, fenders, and any other hard to reach spots. We offer multiple packages to get you the protection you need for your vehicle. Some overspray is possible during spray process, but does not hurt the paint whatsoever.
What about rubberized undercoating?
Rubberized undercoating has its place in the industry. It works well as a sound deadener, but not so much as a rust preventer. Rubberized undercoating can trap moisture and road salt creating the completely undesired effect of making MORE RUST. Fluid Film instead works to create a nearly perpetual barrier that works when your vehicle needs it. If paint on your vehicle's frame chips off, the surrounding Fluid Film will creep onto and into the newly exposed bare steel.
